When Aegon acquired BlackRock’s UK Defined Contribution platform and administration business they needed to move over 500 factsheets from Blackrock to their platform. The need to do this rapidly led them to turn to Interlagos.

Aegon first approached Interlagos in April 2018 and outlined the issues. Interlagos was able to produce a proof of concept by May 2018 and the project was given the go ahead later that month. A statement of work was agreed in June and the system was ready for testing by September.

The system catered for 5 different factsheet templates and uploading data from 9 different spreadsheets. Once data is available the 500+ factsheets can be generated within a day.
